Abstract
A chimerical stock is a fabricated or falsify recollection of an event that did not actually happen. False memory happens to everyone, whether or not he or she notices it. In year, a group of students were given a list of words to remember. They were then told to recall all of the words on the power point. close to of the students were given a warning and some were not. It was suggested that with a warning, anomalous memory is less likely to occur.

Effects of Warning on False Memory
False Memory is described as events in the past tense that may or may not bear occurred, or that have occurred differently than remembered. The study performed in class was to show whether or not false memory could be altered. False Memory is not only important for the past but also the future. It can make major changes in ones future. One may not do things they would enjoy because of things that have occurred in the past.
In 1986, Nadean Cool seek therapy from a headhunter to help her deal with a traumatic event experience by her daughter. The psychiatrist used hypnosis to take aim out buried memories of abuse that Cool had experienced.



Cool became convinced that she had been in a cult, eaten babies, been raped, had sex with animals, and was forced to watch a murder. She thought she had over 120 different personalities. The psychiatrist performed exorcisms on her, while sprinkling holy water. Cool realized that none of this was true and false memory had been implanted in her. She sued the psychiatrist for malpractice (Loftus 1997).
