The apartheid was introduced in 1948 by the nationalist controlled government activity as its formal policy for the future developing of South Africa. Its purpose was to fight down their control in South Africa. Africans were forbidden to interpose the white areas unless they had a pass. To ensure total control the Bantu Education was introduced which meant the blacks not only attended separate schools alone were taught poor quality courses compared to the whites high standard of education, restricting them of constantly becoming anything more of what they were. These are just some of the examples of the causticity and the reality the apartheid brought upon the Africans. Under the apartheid Africans had no say in the government of South Africa. Only whites could vote for election.
