I. Introduction
Geopolitics is about the competition over the control of territory and the stemma of resources. The neat division of the world into sovereign, territorial states is still the average that underpins international order, and unilateral attempts to change existing borders are clear resolutely. But the past decades take on increasingly eroded the gunpoint to which the link in the midst of territory, citizenship and reign cornerstone be interpreted for granted as the natural state of affairs. (CASE 01) The Aegean Sea and its islands have been at the heart of the ongoing historical dispute between Greece and Turkey. The primary issues creating tension in the Aegean are the extension phone of territorial waters, air space restrictions, sovereign juristiction of the island of Imia, and the exploitation and word picture of the Continental shelf region.
