At Bellas eighteenth birthday party at the Cullens raise, Jasper attacks Bella when he sees her blood dripping from her hand. Bella gets injured and Edward gets angry with himself for not defend Bella more. Edward thinks its most safe for Bella to stay away from him and his family, so they dissemble away from Forks. Bella is left in misery after Edward moves and cant jam thinking about him. Soon afterwards Bella becomes close friends with Jacob low-spirited. Jacob Black is a seventeen year old boy who lives in La Push. He becomes best friends with Bella after Edward leaves. He commonly spends his time in the garage fixing cars. Their relationship develops greatly until one night when Jacob becomes ill. After the movies with Bella, Jacob felt very stiff and ill, he went home thinking it was the flu. Bella was very worried about Jacob and called him several times but no one answered. When Bella went to Jacobs house his father Billy made an excuse for Jacobs absence. Soon luxuriant Bella and Jacob have a chat and Bella finds out that Jacob turned into a werewolf.



Their relationship was getting even stronger when Bella found out that Jacob was a werewolf because they had no more secrets to hide from each other. Bella meets surface-to-air missile and his gang who she always hated and learns to like them now. Bellas life was at risk when she went cliff-diving. Jacob rescued Bella just in time in the lead she died. Edward thought Bella was dead and was devastated, so he decided to interpret himself to everyone in the sunlight, where his sparkly skin would be seen. Bella rushed to ruin Edward from showing himself and made it just in time. Towards the ending of the romance Edward returns to Forks with Bella.
