Young Goodman Brown's Faith

The short myth Young Goodman browned by Nathaniel Hawthorne describes a mans religious transformation through the forest. The story is said to have been a dream rather than true facts. The events that took place in the forest change Young Goodman browns outlook on life permanently. He starts glum as an average man with faith and ends up a pessimistic, untrusting old hag.
