Manners: Children remove and copy through what they see around them. In my view I see that the staff are professional and engage appropriate language when they around pincerren. During my day at locating I try to encourage children to use their manners by formulateing please and thank you. When Child A wants to foregather with a toy that child B is using, child A willing snatch the toy of child B. I would condone to child A that they toys are for everyone to play with and they need to distribute and take turns using them, I would also try explaining to the child that when he wants to play with the toy he/she need to say please to the child playing with the same toy and when child B gives the toy that child A says thank you. During this ensure I have learnt that teach children their manners or teaching them anything else at a young age they will infer and will carry on using it when they score older.

Empathy: translation from Heinemann English Dictionary- An ability to see into anothers sense and heart and so to reach a fall and sympatric understanding of thought, feeling or experience.
When the practitioner and the service exploiter are communication and the service substance abuser is upset the practitioner should be adequate to put herself into the service users shoes.



By listening effectively she will be able to do this. The carer should be able to listen beyond the rowing and the feeling behind the words. The carer can nod, to show the service user that they know how they feel. The carer shouldnt sit too close or too far from the service user, but should sit at an angle.
