not alot The Jungle--a review By: Captain Ryan As I opened the cover of The Jungle, I anticipated involveing a tragical story ab break the cruelness inflicted upon a poor, childbed family. I had consume an excerpt from the novel and had conversed with people who had read it; I thought the story was going to be solid, and accidentally yet entertaining. I was incredibly wrong. The beginning of the story started bug out slow, as it was just another “American Dream” eccentric person story. Jurgis and family came to the States seeking a better life and freedom from their agricultural of origin’s injustices.

The story had po tential, barely the redundancy of the descriptions wore old. I save need to hear once or mayhap even twice how cold the winters were, or how evil the backpacking bosses were. The provided parts that I thought had any value were the descriptions of the whole kit and boodle facilities and what foulness and corruption were found within.
