Cultural Diversity and Me

My first day in high school was maven of my most unnerving experiences. I did not know what to expect. scarce during the first day I noticed that my school was various(a) in almost every way possible. There were raft from almost everywhere. And over my high school days I got to guess what other cultures eat, how they dress, talk and over totally just who they are. And as a person I feel that this experience is partly what makes me who I am. The other half of who I am comes from my variant of who I am and how I choose to accept it. My label is Dwayne Tilmon and I am from Chicago, IL. I am nice, annoying at times, funny, smart yet slow (everyone has there slow points), hawkish and imaginative.

Growing up, I was privileged to do a fix of things that also have helped define me as a person. I was put into a medicinal drug program where I vie piano for five years and saxophone for about 4 or five years. I was able to play piddling league baseball and at a parking lot that is not far from my house. There was when I had my first cultural experience. The park in my area was in an African American/ Latino area. From playing baseball I got to see how Hispanic commonwealth interact and I was intrigued by the language they spoke which I now know to be Spanish. Note; I was same(p) five/six years old.



I also got to see what foods they eat and how there family interactions were. My next cultural experience would not come until high school.

Over my high school years I was introduced to other cultural events and actions that I never knew existed. The Chinese New Year, the Jewish holiday of Hanukah and Cinco de Mayo are all prime examples. I witnessed Asian dancing, martial arts which I have participated in for a short time, and what kind of music that they as a culture listen to and the same for Hispanics. I have also noticed thats Asians and Hispanics have baseborn pieces of their culture placed throughout there homes so that they abide by there cultural sense.
